General Pest Treatment
General pest treatments specifically target spiders, ants and cockroaches. We recommend a general pest control treatment is completed every 12 months at minimum to keep these pests at bay. However, sometimes an extra treatment is required to completely banish them. That’s why we have a comprehensive warranty on our service.
Spiders
There are many spider species found on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW, some that are harmless that help with the control of insect pests around the home, and some that are much scarier and potentially harmful. Our general pest treatment which we recommend to be completed every 6-12 months, helps to keep spiders under control. There are also practical solutions to keep spiders from coming inside, for example, covering gaps and holes. Our technician can make recommendations for your unique property.
Cockroaches
Cockroaches are a fast multiplying pest that carry harmful bacteria, leave odours and can cause significant damage to electrical appliances. They have also been known to cause allergic reactions and asthma attacks. They love to hide during the day as they are nocturnal insects and they are usually where you least expect them (Dishwasher cavities, toaster and under the fridge). They can be hard to eradicate once there is an infestation. We use a combination of treatments including liquid sprays, baiting gels and insecticide dusts depending on the type of cockroach and the level of infestation.
Ants
Ants may seem harmless, but once they invade your home or business, they can quickly become a major nuisance. Attracted to food, moisture, and even electrical wiring, ants can contaminate surfaces and cause structural damage over time. Some species, like coastal brown ants and black house ants, are particularly common on the Gold Coast and can be difficult to eliminate without professional treatment.
